German Accuracy, Japanese Refinement Makes Audi 8 Chauffeur Edition

Have you got your personal chauffeur? If so, you may be interested in a limited version of the Audi A8 unveiled by Audi’s Japanese division. The flagship today challenges the nature of the luxury limousines. Built to defy a list of wrong thoughts about the luxury sedans segment, the Chauffeur Edition accentuates the appeal of the never-failing German brand trying to widen its core audience.

When it comes to the exterior, it would take some time to differ the practical Audi A8 from the luxury Chauffeur Edition. The versions tell apart from each other in the cabin with individual adjustable seats. The wealthy buyers can get Marble Grey upholstery and the Phantom Black pearl-colored exterior palette. The 20-inch alloy wheels share the same design with the Audi A8 Sport Edition model. A bar compartment intended to hold drinks is integrated into the rear panel – this fine-detailed cooled bar allows the passengers to have a drink on-the-fly.

The engineering team made some significant updates under the hood. The Limited Chauffeur features a 4.0-liter twin-turbocharged unit producing 444 lb-feet of torque and 435hp. Mated to an 8-speed automatic transmission, it allows the sedan to sprint from 0 to 60mph in around 4 seconds.  Only 5 examples of the limited edition Audi Chauffeur have been built, featuring a pricing of $131,000.
