FCA hands over two new police models to the Police Academy in Rome. The four-wheel-drive Jeep Renegade and the 280-hp Alpha Romeo Giulia will be used to make the Italian roads safe, along with the Lamborghini Huracan LP 610-4, donated to the Italian police fleet before. Well, Italian cops seem to be so on trend with these snazzy vehicles!

On top of that, FCA donated two Alpha Romeo Giulia Veloces to the Carabinieri fleet, to act as a special ceremonial police escort during events. So the police versions of modern sports cars will begin the service preventing crimes in style. The new Veloce features 280 ponies and a 2.0-liter turbocharged four cylinder engine. The 4x4 Renegade features a 2.0-liter turbo diesel power unit to deliver 120 hp. The 120-hp Giulietta is a compact Q4 hatch that boasts a 1.6-liter turbo diesel engine. All the models are also fitted with the wide array of police equipment inside the car.
