Infiniti Starts and Wins: the 2017 Q60 Debuting at NAIAS

With the launch of the Q60 at Detroit Motor Show, Infiniti seems to say goodbye to manual gearbox. A reconsidered 400hp sports coupe looks like a previously released Q50 sedan model, updated slightly. The all-new premium version is considered to be the most performance-focused one, coming standard with a 3.0-litre twin-turbo power unit. Infiniti offers an optional AWD with a 7-speed transmission there. As for the options, it would be a single-turbo 2.0-litre engine delivering 208hp, with 4 cylinders. The experts say, this change is believed to be the most considerable engine alterations in the lineup recently.

When it comes to an outer look, one must factor in the stiff competition in the automotive target section there. BMW M2 is just around the corner; Mercedes-Benz keeps pace with it too, so Lexus should keep in mind this intense rivalry. Against this background, no wonder the design team did its best to create an aggressive all-new design, with smooth curves along with sharp angles. The front double-arch deep grille explores a recognizable signature design, with striking LED headlights. The bespoke interior impresses with outstanding, bold lines and updated stuff inside the vehicle. The model employs some hi-tech sophisticated features like Lane Departure Assist, Backup Collision System as well as Active Noise Cancellation to deliver much comfort.
