Happy B-day, and, more usually, Happy BMW-day, our dearest car!

2016 is believed to be a bumper year for BMW brand. Several concepts mark the milestone anniversaries since the iconic models debuted, including a futuristic Vision Next 100 concept that marks BMW’s centenary or one-off BMW 2002 Hommage retro concept to commemorate 50 years since the 2002 made its debut. This week, it’s high time for M3 to carry on this tradition turning 30 this year, with a gorgeous limited edition BMW M3.

The model would be offered in a special Macao Blue, a unique metallic hue designed for the “30 Years M3”.  The company is committed to limit the number of units to 500 only worldwide. A genuine “30 Jahre M3” nameplate that means “30 Years M3” adorns the anniversary sports sedan, alongside with unique badging on the fender grills. A trim package underpins the M3 Competition package with more powerful 444 ponies compared to the standard M3.

Equipped with a 3.0-litre twin-Turbo engine, the celebratory model features also adaptive M suspension, the Active M differential, the system of stability control, along with the three driving modes, Comfort, Sport and Sport + ones. A six-speed manual transmission or a seven-speed dual-clutch automatic gearbox will be optionally available.

The premium interior boasts just minor alterations compared to the standard M3. This is particularly so with special trimmed sports seats with stitched headrests and blue-and-gray inserts, the “30 Years M3” dash-mounted numbered plaque and M 3-stripe trimmed seat belts.
