Mercedes Is Set to Reveal Maybach-badged Vision Concept at Pebble Beach

This week, the car world is set to meet Concours d’Elegance at Pebble Beach. Exciting debuts and dramatic teasers are expected, so now we have a reason to set great store by this event, along with the Monterey Car Week. And Mercedes is surely a pace-setter in expectations with a forthcoming Vision concept teasing its most deep-pocketed clientele with a huge, gigantic Maybach 6 coupe concept where “6” refers to the length in meters (appr. 19.6 feet). Could it be the one-off Excelero striking back? Will wait, will see. Then check out the latest teaser shots!

With two darkened images, posted to the brand’s Facebook page, the carmaker gives the key to the intentions. In fact, nothing could say “Eat your heart out, I’m rich!” more clearly than a fresh two-door 6-meter-long luxury coupe. We can certainly predict the Vision coupe will be massive (uncompromisingly huge, damn well, as it comes to a new Maybach), with the slit ulterior headlights and a giant but quite unusual for Mercedes grille to incorporate the Maybach name. We’ll see the Maybach-badged metal concept in its grandiose glory this week later yet the production version is expected in late 2017.
