Aimed to replace the SS model, a hot-looking race moniker has made waves around either excited ChevyTeam drivers or hearted brand’s fans. GM asked Jimmie Johnson, an iconic seven-time NASCAR Cup Series champion, to take part in the announcement.
For Cup Series, the stock track-tested car is equipped with a tube-framed chassis and a 5.9L V8 to put out monstrous 900 horsepower providing plenty of downforce there.
