Ahead of the Super Bowl, Kia revealed pricing for its crossover hybrid, the 2017 Kia Niro. Melissa McCarthy will try to sell us this groovy model promoting a new type of crossover in the “Run” ad which is planned to be aired during the Big Game. Along with the ad campaign, the South Korean carmaker announced the pricing list for five crossover’s trims: the base price will start at $23,785.
That price is actual for the FE trim, the lowest; therefore, you will get 16-inch wheels, power windows, a keyless entry, 50 mpg combined, a rear-view camera and a 7-inch touchscreen panel along with Android Auto and Apple CarPlay system onboard. The next trim, LX, will cost you $24,095 adding roof rails, LED daytime running lights, pushbutton start and some safety system options plus the Advanced Tech Package optionally. Customers who move up to the EX trim will get a leather-wrapped steering wheel, heated seats and power folding mirrors, front fog lights and additional active safety features for $26,595. The limited-run $28,895 Launch Edition will offer 18-inch alloy wheels, one-off pearl-series exterior paint options, improved 8-inch touchscreen navigation system and a 10-way adjustable driver seat.
The top trim, Touring, will sticker for $30,545 adding ventilated and heated seats, a sunroof, a premium stereo sound system, rear-and-front park assist system and some safety warning systems within the limits of optional $1,900 Advanced Technology Package.
