2018 Citroen Berlingo Will Officially Go Live in Geneva
Hope, this model will fulfill our expectations – now the new Berlingo is completely revamped getting the all-new interior, platform, bold updated styling and even extra storage space. Go to hell, utility! Now the third-gen 2018 Citroen Berlingo will be offered with the widest range of engine options including diesel ones, as well as two generous sizes, M and XL, along with a host of driving assistance technologies including adaptive cruise control, electric parking brake, grip control and trailer stability system.
Bringing the rugged styling to the van segment, the 2018 Berlingo underpins the new EMP2 (Efficient Modular) platform; due to an optimized power steering, maneuverability has been solidly impoved. This has also impacted on a shorter-and-higher front overhang and a more prominent, forward-set windscreen. The van benefits from a choice of petrol or diesel powerplants, a 1.2-liter petrol Puretech producing 110 and 130hp, or a 1.5-liter diesel BlueHDi that is good for 75, 100 and 130hp. Depending on the choice of engine, a six-speed manual transmission or an eight-speed automatic will be available.
We can’t wait to see the ambitious model next month, at the forthcoming Geneva Motor Show.
