2018 Ford Fiesta Sport Van Stands Out From The Crowd
Ford unveiled the next-generation Fiesta Sport Van for Europe – and yes, it is already considered to be a hot seller in the commercial vehicle segment. No more rear windows – the hatchvan has blank metal panels instead. Inspired by the ST-Line model, the all-new Fiesta Van shares its platform with the Fiesta and joins three Ford Transits – the Courier, Custom and Connect – in the manufacturer’s range.
There’s total load capacity of around 1,100 pounds, and a three-door configuration for the van. The load space comes with a mesh \ composite bulkhead, and a rubber floor covering along with a sidewall trim, not to mention 35 cubic feet of cargo space.
The subcompact hatch is powered by a 1.0-litre turbo EcoBoost making 123bhp, or a 1.5-litre diesel TDCi with 118bhp, both paired with six-speed manual and FWD. Available with a huge safety and assistance driver system pack, the van comes compatible with Android Auto and Apple CarPlay. In short, it gets blind-spot monitoring, pre-collision assist, adaptive cruise control, parking assist, traffic sign recognition and automatic emergency braking. Either way, it looks pretty adorable – as for the van.
