2019 Chrysler Pacifica Hybrid – Another Win for the Minivan
Exploring fuel efficiency at 84 MPGe and combining extremely profitable 33 miles of range on electric power with a practical hybrid powertrain, the 2019 Chrysler Pacifica is a true winner. But for 2019, FCA offered a new, blacked-out trim, dubbed the S Appearance Package, with added exterior features like a host of gloss black accents including window moldings or grille surrounds, black wing badges and roof rails, and 18-inch wheels finished in semi-gloss black. Looking pretty gangsta, isn’t it?
Inside, standard for the new package are black – again – leather seats adorned with an S logo, the steering wheel containing the Piano Black sections and adding Light Diesel Gray stitching, not to mention the Anodized Ice Cave (what a name!) lighting bezels. The leg-room and head-room specs are generally pretty right.
The S Appearance Package, however, skips the hybrid powertrain. The 2019 Chrysler Pacifica still benefits from a 3.6-liter V6; a pack of two electric motors and a 16-kwh lithium-ion battery adds up to pretty fair 260 horsepower. Know, too, that the package will cost you $595 arriving this fall and will be available with any exterior paint choice. Choose black – it will surely beat.
