2021 Alfa Romeo Stelvio Veloce Ti – Still No Mechanical Changes, Though Stylish Looks
For the 2021 model year, Alfa Romeo teases with the all-new SUV novelty for the lineup between the QV and the regular models, the top-level Stelvio Veloce Ti trim.”Ti” stands for “International Tourism” (or “Turismo Internazionale” in Italian) and has been used to the brand’s range-topping models. According to the brand’s press release, the upcoming SUV represents the pinnacle of the Stelvio’s technical perfection.
Stelvio Veloce Ti will share some styling elements with the Quadrifoglio trim, in particular it evokes the body kit taking on the body color hue, along with an entirely new rear bumper with a sporty diffuser part. The novelty differs from the regular Stelvio with the completely new 21-inch alloy dark-finished wheels featuring the original brand’s design. This option will be a first from the Stelvio.
No mechanical changes under the hood: introducing the fresh variant for the European market, Alfa Romeo will provide a choice of a 2.2-liter diesel delivering 210 HP and a 2.0-liter turbo inline-four cylinder petrol producing 280 HP. Both variants are mated to the featured Q4 AWD system by Alfa as well as an eight-speed automatic transmission.
