4 Reasons for Knowing Better the Gentleman’s Tourer

Fashion trends come and go, but one thing that never fails is the gentleman’s car. We all know the statement, but what does this really mean? This year, at the Geneva Motor Show, the British luxury Rolls-Royce house rolled out a trio of custom Phantoms including “The Gentleman’s Tourer” that espouses high ideas of bespoke design solutions.

1. Back to the roots:
It’s inspired by the 1930s Phantom II Continental Saloons

2. Unique interior finishing
The Gentleman’s Tourer features the precious and rare Ruthenium metal of the Platinum group to adorn the cabin inside. Along with it, tones of Anthracite, Selby Gray and Black leather are used in the minimalistic interior. The silver pinstripe runs across the deep Piano Black veneer. And have you seen the door panels detailed with a special embossed Spirit of Ecstasy takes?

3. Custom Silver and Gray exterior paintwork to emphasize an utilitarian space
Wrapped in one-off Iced Gunmetal exterior paint shade, the Gentleman’s Tourer boasts a satin silver hood and 22-inch wheels with matching wheel center caps.

4. Is it a long-wheelbase model?
Unfortunately, it isn’t. The Gentleman’s Tourer is a short-wheelbase car. Rolls-Royce revealed two other extended-wheelbase models for the Show, the ‘Whispered Muse’ and ‘A moment in Time’. They are designed by well-known artists, Helen Amy Murray and Claude Johnson.
