Arash Rushes Into Geneva with a Hybrid AF10
A lot of time has flowed since Arash, the British supercar company, hit the market with its snitzy models. Several years ago, the carmaker unveiled the AF8, believed to be rivaled with McLaren 12C and Ferrari 458 Italia supercars. Now the British marque rolls out a hybrid hypercar for Geneva Motor Show to compete with the P1 and LaFerrari.
Arash initially launched its AF10 model in 2008; this release will represent an updated version of the hypercar. The main design philosophy of featuring a high flying appearance remains unaltered; however, the rear wing and the aerofoils have been reshaped, after all. The total weight still remains unknown, but the main material for the body is reinforced carbon fiber plastic panels. The hybrid supercar will feature a 6.2-litre supercharged V8 engine and sport 4 electric motors – per two on the front and rear axle accordingly – producing 2,080hp totally. The motors are powered by Lithium ion battery, recharged automatically. Speeding? Arash claims it to sprint from 0-100km per hour in less than 3 seconds only, delivering a top speed of 323 km\h.
