Bentley Teases With An All-New Continental GT3 Racer For The Next Season
In 2018, Bentley seems to win the main world racing titles with the help of its newest GT3 contender. The second-gen Continental GT3 racer is scheduled to make its global debut at the BGT Series Monza Endurance Cup next spring and will contest the Intercontinental GT Challenge dropping the BGTS Sprint Cup, though.
The fresh racer looks really brutal with the racing-inspired bodywork, a wider grille, a body-integrated rear diffuser and a massive wing. A lightweight-aluminum bodyshell allows the race-ready model to feature a 1,300kg curb weight, saving some kilos in the road car via aerodynamically-improved bumpers, fenders and a carbon fiber front splitter. For a kick-off, the Continental GT is powered by a 4.0-liter biturbo direct-inject V8 that develops 550hp and sends power to the rear wheels. Pricing has yet to be revealed.
