Better Bigger: Lincoln Offers Longer Wheelbase for Navigator
The 2018 Lincoln Navigator has made its debut this week; Lincoln revealed its latest extended-wheelbase version for the body-on-frame Navigator rivaling with the Cadillac Escalade ESV in the segment. Slotting above the standard model and the full-size MKT, the extra-long premium Navigator L SUV is now a foot longer if compared to the standard model boasting even more cargo space at the time.
Three magnificent cabin design top-trim themes will be available for customers; it comes to astounding Chalet, impressive Destination, and high-class Yacht Club ones, along with the standard Technology pack featuring Active Park Assist system, Adaptive Cruise control and a head-up display. The luxurious Black Label treatment will be offered for either standard-wheelbase or extended-wheelbase SUVs. Adding a foot is definitely worth the stretch as the Navigator L gets an extra 15 cubic feet behind the 3rd row, to provide more utility. Under the hood, it remains unchanged as the Navigator L is still equipped with the same 3.5-liter twin-turbo EcoBoost V6 to produce up to 450 horsepower.
Price is awaited to start at $81,945.
