BMW Revealed 460-hp CS Model
Rocking the CS badge, the 2018 BMW M4 CS is actually the first model to expand M4 lineup. Well, then, it fits well to buy one as a worthy Bimmer for your driving routine, but there is one catch. It is a limited-run version. It remains to be seen how many CS model units will be produced.
Going right between the M4 Competition Pack and the off-the-chart M4 GTS, the new M4 CS borrows some styling cues from both models reflecting its sporty spirit. There are plenty of carbon fiber bits including the roof, hood, rear spoilers and splitters, to reduce some weight (not to mention special light-alloy wheels and lightweight door panels). Besides that, the new Bimmer shares the suspension with the M4 Competition Pack coming standard with the Adaptive M one. The latter allows it to be effectively both road- and track-used. A power bump is a bit more than the 450-hp M4 Competition Pack: the 2018 BMW M4 CS adds +10 horses raising its power to 460hp and achieving 0-62mph time in 3.9 seconds. The only available transmission is a seven-speed M DCT; it means no manual transmission at all, so sorry.
Wonder what the price will be? BMW claims the M4 CS will cost approximately $125,000 in Europe. The model is expected to make its way to the US, though no official price has been released yet.
