A happy day for all passionate race fans – BMW Team RLL unveils two liveries for the new GTLM racing models! The spanking new hundredth anniversary liveries have been revealed to coincide with the 2016 24 Hours of Daytona. Actually, Rolex 24 is expected to become a good year for the Bavarian automaker as the new trims in these liveries will debut in the 2016 IWS Championship pouring in tributes to the far-famed 3.0 CSL. The last one, as you may know, is believed to mark the BMW’s era in motor sport.

The current M6 in the latest GTLM trim is aimed to replace the preceding Z4 GTLM car. The Bavarian giant doesn’t reveal much detail about the performance or drivetrain for this beast, teasing us with the hints about a revised V-8 engine delivering around 600 horsepower. As for the liveries’ paint palette, two different combinations have been chosen to wear. The NO. 25 racing model sports red, light blue and deep violet colors painted to be a flashback of the legendary BMW 3.0 CSL which got its glorious victory at Daytona wearing the same illustrious livery and the number. The second car wears the NO. 100 number to emblematize the BMW milestone centenary. A futuristic outfit sparkles with an inspiring brand-new 3D effect standing out against a white background. BMW always features iconic designed liveries, it goes without saying.
