Brabus Will Showcase World’s Fastest Four-Seat Droptop at Frankfurt
Brabus is famous for taking luxury vehicles and improving them via the extra power. After taking the 850-hp Brabus 850 6.0 Biturbo Cabrio and the 888-hp Brabus Rocket 900 hardtop, Brabus has turned the Mercedes-AMG S65 convertible into a hard-hitting, high-performance monster. Set to make its debut at the 2017 Frankfurt Motor Show, the whopping Brabus Rocket 900 Cabrio is already claimed to be the world’s fastest four-seat convertible with an output of an insane 888 horsepower and 1,106 lb-ft of torque.
Capable to go over 200mph and hit 60mph in 3.9 seconds, the Rocket droptop gets a custom white leather interior, beautifully accented with steel components, riding on 21-inch Platinum Edition forged wheels. To add the extra power, Brabus has pumped out the engine displacement from the 6.0L to the 6.3L one boosting the peak horsepower from the base 621 to 888. The custom exhaust system and larger turbochargers have been added too, along with modified cooling system, lowering control system and a custom limited-slip differential.
Pricing is expected to smash $400,000.
