This is the Brand-new Range Rover Velar
Filling the gap between the Range Rover Evoque and Range Rover Sport, the mid-sized Velar will make its official debut at Geneva Motor Show this month. Well, the, this five-seater is pretty conventional as well as smart-designed packing a new cutting edge (and a much-awaited!) infotainment Touch Pro Duo system with juicy graphics. Velar is already believed to be the most aerodynamically efficient Land Rover ever built boasting a drag coefficient of 0.32.
Sharing the same aluminum-intensive chassis with the Jaguar F-Pace, the Range Rover Velar is a bit longer (4,803mm long) and lower (1,665mm high) on the same 2,874mm wheelbase. Five engines will be offered including a 180-hp I4 diesel engine, a more powerful 247-hp 2.0-liter I4 gas engine and a hothead 380-hp turbo V6 top-version. Packing even more luxury, there’s also a limited First Edition variant (only 500 units are expected to be produced), with an eye-watering $89,300 pricing tag. The base price will start at $49,900.
