Aimed to celebrate “British culture and craftsmanship”, the bespoke Aston Martin V8 Vantage S Great Britain Edition has just been revealed at the current Shanghai Auto Show. The China-only limited-run model from Q Division is based on the AM British heritage and will be available as a droptop exclusively. Only five units are expected to hit Chinese customers.
The latest AM project actually faces no mechanical upgrade sharing the platform with the standard Vantage 8 roadster. It means that customers will get the same 4.7-liter V8 delivering 430hp and reaching a top speed of 190mph. Considering the special edition price (approximately $303,000 or £236,000), the British Edition is rather expensive as one should pay twice for aviation-themed trim with AM badges along with exclusive leather-quilted upholstery and Union Jack embroidery. The exterior featured Stratus White paint job paired with blue accents on the taillights, side mirrors and rear diffuser. Just over-the-top model, but not on the cheap side, you know.
