The latest KIA luxury wagon model under the name Sportspace Concept was engineered for long-distance joyful driving specially. So no wonder that the design team re-considered aerodynamic rear and front bumpers, a raptorial grille (so-called tiger-nose), new 14-inch alloy wheels, LED taillights and simple surfaces, making an additional sport pack optionally.
As for the interior, the new Picanto features upgraded upholstery with red fabric inserts, black-leathered comfortable seats, bright chrome accents, a modernized dashboard with the accented parts polished, a 7-inch display and several warning systems including cruise control. The model would be offered in three paint interior palettes, including Brown, Yellow and Red.
Under the hood the model obtains an upgraded 1.0-litre three-cylinder MPI engine; the company faces the necessity to upgrade the engines under the Euro 6 emissions regulations. It is said that the braking system, with larger front brakes would be also improved, to cut a full stop distance to 121 feet from 62mph. The tourer serves as a perfect example of KIA’s performance and fuel economy; it is expected to go on sales market in March, 2016.
