Derooficating: A Soft-Top DB11 Volante Roadster to Debut in 2018
Aston Vartin reveals first teasing photos of a topless 2018 DB11 roadster on its official Facebook page. Boasting a rather unique side profile the bedazzle drop-top Volante variant will enter the sales market in early spring 2018
The first shots of “lightly disguised DB11 Volante Engineering Car” are short on details but truly reveal the fact the automaker has gone with the fabric roof to save some cruiser’s weight. According to the official teaser photos unleashed, the fixed-roof roadster features the iconic flowing body lines to keep the branded styling. Beyond that, pronounced vents and vibrant C-shaped rear lights can’t go unmentioned. We know that the high-profile convertible will use a 5.2-litre twin-turbo V12 (the same unit is currently employed in the Mercedes-AMG GT version) delivering 600bhp at 6500rpm and accelerating a top speed around 200mph. With a softer suspension than the coupe, the promising tourer is expected to sprint 0-62mph time in approximately 3.9 seconds.
