If you have always been zealous for a future classic car, there’s no better time to opt for it than now when BMW announced the launch of the ultimate M5 sedan version, so-called “Competition Edition”. The carmaker is going to build only 200 sedan units, 100 in “Mineral White” hue and 100 in “Carbon Black” one. Another version of the “Competition Edition” would be the “Pure Silver Metal Edition”, equipped with the same stuff as well, but being a US-only model.

With affordability in mind, the M5 Competition Edition model is strongly considered to become a good investment relatively soon, with the starting typical price of $142,000, or €129,500. The latter is currently at the top of the agenda as the German manufacturer claimed the forthcoming sedan would be a Europe-only edition.

Based on the same platform as the M5 Competition Package, the 600-hp “black-and-white” sedan comes with a 4.4-litre twin-turbo V8.  The exceptional model could make an all-right place to invest your money, being equipped with a modified suspension, distinctive steering calibration and the M-type dual-clutch transmission and taking 0-62 time in just 3.9 seconds. So the Competition Edition is sure an appreciating asset, with a special serial number and unique “Competition” badging.
