Dodge Charger Daytona & Challenger T/A Trims Come Back Soon
More performance and an updated sleeker design – these are the points Dodge has been focused on to revive both Challenger and Charger trims for 2017. Today the brand introduced the all-new flamboyant metals on Woodward Avenue, just before the traditional Woodward Dream Cruise opens the doors. Along with that, Dodge revealed the prices; the Chally appears to be the most reasonable version starting from the $37,390 price tag when the Charger Daytona kicks off at $39,890 rocketing almost $46,090 with the 6.4-litre engine, would you believe? Dodge promises to take the first orders in late September.
The new four-door Charger Daytona is screamingly mind-boggling with its wider 20-inch wheels, huge Satin Black decals on the hood and spectacular rear fender dark graphics. The 150-mph model will be offered in both 5.7-litre base version and the 6.4-litre V8 model, called the Daytona 392, featuring Goodyear Eagle F1 tires, updated suspension and Brembo six-pot calipers. Like the Daytona, the 2017 Challenger trim will be available on just the same engine variations to deliver 375 and 485 hp respectively. There are three various T/A trims with brand lettering including the base T/A, the middle-luxury T/A Plus with Nappa leather seats, a flashy stereo and a UConnect system to coordinate with Android Auto or Apple Car Play, and the top 6.4-litre Hemi V8 T/A 392 with bigger Mopar wheels. On top of that, Dodge has added some styling cool touches to the models yet trying to keep the spirit of true muscle cars.
