Exclusively For Japan: Subaru Released Its WRX S4 tS
A limited edition of the WRX S4 tS has been unveiled by Subaru Tecnica International. Based on the WRX S4 version, the new aggressive-looking model borrows some styling cues from the S207 (both are Japan-only) and is intended for the local, Japanese, market only. The top-class WRX S4 tS is expected to reach local sales dealers in fall, 2016, with a starting price of $48,972 (if you opt for the NBR Challenge Package, a special version, it burns a $52,165 hole in your pocket). The latter sportier package will feature a unique badging, a huge carbon-fiber rear wing, black-hued BBS 19-inch wheels, with an upscale luminescent speedometer and a suede-wrapped steering wheel inside the vehicle.
The new WRX S4 tS is all about enhanced handling featuring better torque, due to modified exhaust parts and air intakes, alongside with improved braking. Equipped with a 2.0-litre turbocharged engine, it delivers around 300 horsepower. The upmarket model focuses on dynamic abilities; the carmaker used adjustable DampMatic for the front suspension and Active Vectoring 10% torque to add some extra performance.
