With an Eye to New York: Acura Teases with 2017 MDX
A second half of March will be marked by another prominent automotive event, the 2016 NY Auto Show. Acura is gearing up for the expo having revealed an official (LOL!) teaser of its revamped 2017 MDX. According to the darkened teaser shot, the three-row SUV will feature orange-shaded rendering; however, the followers have already stamped it to look rather cartoonish.
The Japanese carmaker makes some enticing offers for the 2017 MDX, though. It comes to enhanced hybrid powertrain technologies along with exceptional design improvement for the latest model. Here it goes: the main design update seems to be a grille alike the Precision Concept grille design already unveiled at the 2016 NAIAS. The brand-new AcuraWatch Safety System is set to be installed to the model along with the original AWD handling. As known, the current 7-seater is powered by a 3.5-litre V6 engine delivering 290hp. However, the main technical specifications have not been aired yet.
