Feeling Bold: Mitsubishi Redesigned its 2018 Outlander Sport
Anticipating the on-coming Auto Show in New York, Mitsubishi is going to hit customers’ fancy with some great catch-ups, and they are set to boom in a short time. It comes to the expecting Eclipse Cross, first of all, and the Outlander Sport, becoming even more affordable and versatile for 2018. The mildly redesigned 2018 Mitsubishi Outlander Sport is considered to be a solid performer in its class. Along with a new option Touring package, the carmaker offers a rich list of standard equipment with comfortable performance and some exterior and interior updates, by the way, rather mild.
Being rated highly in a competitive class, the 2018 Outlander Sport features updated front and rear fascias, new LED daytime running lights, a forged skid plate in the center of the rear fascia, and the grille with chrome bars. Delivering solid performance, it will offer a choice between two engines. Choosing a 2.0-liter inline four power unit, customers will get a 148-hp vehicle while opting for a 2.4-liter engine delivers 168 horsepower as well. Other interior updates include a new 7-inch infotainment system which comes with Android Auto and Apple CarPlay, an upgraded shift lever along with the center console. Pricing is expected to be announced in a short time.
