Feeling Yellow: the 2017 Subaru BRZ Goes on the Series
The limited-edition color-based Series line from Subaru has been continued with a fresh issue; the 2017 Subaru BRZ came into the world several days ago. The new BRZ Series.Yellow arrives in the footsteps of the last year’s Series.Hyperblue and will be limited as only 500 units are expected to be built.
The bright BRZ is named Series.Yellow as it features the special sunshine-yellow colour scheme along with the unique interior trim, beautifully black-accented. Apart from the paint, the Yellow is basically the updated 2017 Subaru stacking the cutting-edge Performance Package, with the updated Brembo brakes and Sachs Performance dampers. The major upgrades have affected the mode; after suspension and the chassis’ alterations, the Sport mode has been elevated to the Track one.
However, Subaru managed to get a significant jump in power: the Yellow gets five – that’s damn right, five! – more ponies. If you opt for a manual transmission, getting the extra hps could well be the case. The contrast canary stitching, Alcantara eye-catching inserts and superior black cabin alongside with 17-inch black aluminum wheels garner so much attention. No pricing information is now available, but it is expected to reach the mark around $30,000.
