Fiat Adds Two Special Edition Models to 124 Lineup
Fiat has expanded its enhanced 124 lineup with two special edition models, the 124 Fiat Abarth GT and the Fiat 124 Spider-S Design. Both models will make its official debut in early spring at the Geneva Motor Show.
The GT and Spider-S will begin with the same 1.4-liter turbocharged gasoline MultiAir engine hooked up to either six-speed automatic or manual gearboxes. The latter enables the model to hit 0-62mph time in 6.8 seconds from a standstill demonstrating a top speed of 144mph and delivering 168bhp alongside with 250 Nm of torque.
On the outside, the roadster and coupe’s goodies include exclusive Alpi Orientali Grey exterior shade, 17-inch OZ Ultra-light-alloy rims, and unique gunmetal grey-painted mirror caps and front spoiler. On demand, customers can opt for a carbon fiber rear spoiler, a matte black hood treatment and carbon fiber mirror caps. The main GT’s trinket is certainly a removable carbon fiber hardtop that can be installed or removed just in few steps. The hardtop includes a rear window with an efficient defroster and weighs 35 pounds when installed.
