Fiat has been debuted with the new Fiat Aegea compact sedan model at the2015 Istanbul Motor Show. It is reported that the Aegea model is aimed to replace the Linea looking even more appealing and interesting at the world premiere.
It is no mere chance the Istanbul Motor Show has been chosen to serve as a place of unveiling the Aegea sedan. The model was developed with the Tofas R&D, in Turkey and would be manufactured here too, hitting the automotive markets of 40 countries of the Africa, Middle East and Europe regions.
Let’s consider what this compact sedan would suggest with its dimensions. The model comes on sale equipped with two Mulijet II turbodiesel engines as well as two petrol units producing the output from 95 to 120hp. It is believed to be either the most powerful or fuel-efficient engine type Fiat offers for the sedan. Both automatic and manual transmissions are available depending on the motor picked up.
Inside the model, the Aegea can accommodate five passengers. The model features Voice Recognition system, a rear-view camera for easy parking, TomTom System of satellite navigation (available only optionally) as well as UConnect infotainment system paired with 5-inch touch screen display.
