The Force Awakens, the Nissan Rogue One Star Wars Edition Comes!
The 2017 Nissan Rogue One Star Wars Limited Edition package is considered to be the first production vehicle to include Lucasfilm’s Star Wars-branded elements, debuted yesterday at the Los Angeles Auto Show. This midnight black CUV appears to be the first ever franchise vehicle targeting the movie’s fans. The high-end option package, along with the exclusive interior trim tidbits and exterior gimmicks, also includes a numbered Death Trooper full-size collectible helmet.
By the by, the limited edition package features the only one interior charchoal color choice, along with two Magnetic Black and Glacier White exterior paint options. Inside the vehicle, there are some upmarket franchise-logoed items including Rebel Alliance and Galactic Empire inserts in the cupholders, carpeted floor mats and backlit kickplates. Driving the Rogue One definitely looks like navigating theMillenium Falcon in this way, especially when using a one-of-a-kind panoramic sunroof there.
Having at its heart the redesigned 2017 SV trim with Sun and Sound Touring Package, the Star Wats CUV is powered by a 2.5-liter 4-cylinder engine delivering 170 hp and 175 pound-feet of torque as well. On the exterior, it features the bespoke Rogue One badging on the front doors, franchise-logoed rear bumper protector, 17-inch alloys finished in glossy black, and the D-pillars featuring Starbird logo decals. The roof rails, the door handles along with the grille are also completed in gloss black hue.
Only 5,400 Rogue One Star Wars Limited Edition units are expected to be built.
