Full Specs of 6-Gen Volkswagen Polo Revealed, More Tech Introduced
For Europe, Volkswagen has introduced the all-new six-generation VW Polo tweaking the styling and changing its size a bit. The new Polo boasts a more spacious boot and larger dimensions if compared to the earlier generation. Personalization is still a thing as the carmaker heavily plays with paint options offering overwhelming 13 dash and 14 body variants and a multi-colored look in four engaging color schemes. As Volkswagen puts a focus to the compact class, there are three packages including Style, Black, and R-Line, to boost customization on point. The new five-door Polo is announced to hit European markets be late 2017, with the starting price of $14,520.
At the cost, customers will get nine Euro-6 engine options on the range of 64 and 147bhp. There are different petrol, natural gas and diesel engines to choose from, ranging from the 1.0 to the 2.0-litre versions. The mint 2.0 GTI will likely produce even 200bhp. In terms of dimensions, the all-new 2018 Polo is 159 inches in length, with more 351-litre (12.4 cubic feet) boot space.
