Here Are the 2019 Next-Gen Suzuki Jimny, Revealed Officially for Europe
We get some new specs and info as Suzuki has officially announced all the details about the redesigned 2019 Suzuki Jimny built for the European markets. Here are the details and specs concerning all the tech information including powertrain.
The first big news is the engine choice: the tiny off-roader gets a 1.5-liter four-cylinder gasoline engine producing 96 pound-feet of torque and 100 horsepower (as for the hybrid version, there’s still no words on it). The four-cylinder is mated to a four-speed automatic transmission, or a five-speed manual one. Power is sent to all four wheels via the Suzuki Allgrip Pro AWD system (Jimny will boast three driving modes)
The second good is a host of safety features, like traffic sign detection, automatic emergency braking or lane departure warning. Meant to be highly practical or even bold, the off-roader is also affordable, with the efficient engine and a new shift lever. Inside, all the cabin is made rather minimalistic, with a scratch-resistant finish, and – optional – 7-inch touchscreen.
