Honda CR-V Spied on a Road
First spy shots of 2017 Honda CR-V camouflaged prototype have been revealed on the media. The fifth-gen compact crossover has been caught testing in the USA. Because of a light camo-painted coat, the final cutting-edge version shows an extremely dramatic redesign yet revealing some updated styling ideas.
The current front and rear prototype styling is believed to borrow some evolutionary details from the Civic and the Jazz hatchback exterior. Besides that, the curvy prototype has been taken cues from the Civic about the engine having borrowed a Turbo 1.5-litre power unit. However, we hope a higher CR-V output compared to the latest Civic as the current engine delivers 175hp. It seems that the current CR-V looks enlarged in size; it would be reasonable to conjecture that the bigger size range will let the model to be equipped with third-row seats to rival with a VW Tiguan in the compact crossover segment. The new CR-V will reportedly offer the seven-seat and AWD option, along with a hybrid version.
It’s unfortunate that we can’t enjoy the possibly sophisticated interior; it is likely considered to feature the latest tech-savvy and safety widgets. Prices should expectedly get underway around $24,645.
