Karma Automotive Officially Released the Luxury Revero Hybrid
The first official teasing images along with the catching video have been released by Karma Automotive, a California-based carmaker that is being funded by China’s Wanxiang Group. As you may remember, they purchased Fisker Automotive, suddenly declared the bankruptcy, in 2014, and now its first luxury plug-in sedan is all on the way to debut. Practically, the Karma is back as the new Revero seems to resemble much the previous Fisker vehicle. Starting September, 8, one could reserve the model when the full Revero reveal will happen.
So, what is particularly noticeable, it’s an eye-catching, outspoken design to keep much unaltered; the exterior gains only a few minor updates to the bumper or grille areas. According to Kip Ewing, the chief engineer, one may talk of the mechanical changes including a redesigned user-friendly intuitive infotainment system, restyled badges, painted manually to give a bit of uniqueness to each car, and an improved solar roof. The carmaker ambitiously claims the plug-in sedan to boast formidable super-charging capabilities as the solar roof would be even able to power the vehicle while creating enough energy (the four-door sedan will run on electricity and gasoline). The specs revealed look invigorating: the Revero can sprint 0-60 time in 5.5 seconds delivering 125 mph top speed. It will feature an electric range of perhaps 50 miles, with the price tag between $100,000 up to $100,000 expected.
