Less Weight, More Range, Hyundai Promises with the New FE Fuel Cell concept
In order to replace the Tuscon Fuel Cell, Hyundai has been working on the new hydrogen-powered SUV project. In Geneva, the carmaker provided a glimpse of a future concept’s look. Dubbed the FE (Future Eco) Fuel Cell Concept, it is expected to inspire the same production version in 2018. Thus far, it’s only a concept.
A VERY efficient concept, though. Due to the embodied hydrogen fuel cell technology, the concept will be able to run about 500 miles on a full tank of hydrogen providing more range. The water-inspired futuristic exterior design is a conceptual one featuring fluidic sculpture design philosophy. There is even an electric scooter in the trunk; according to carmaker’s announcement, it could help you the last mile to overcome. Still, it’s just freaking cool.
