Lynk & Co Revealed its Volvo-developed 03 Sedan Prototype
Lynk & Co, remember them? Being a Chinese-backed startup, Lynk & Co is actually Volvo’s sister company, and it seems the company is set to show its ambitious, Volvo-developed project at the Shanghai Motor Show. It comes to the 03 Concept compact sedan, but what is meant here is a fully functional design prototype. For now, we can get a chance to meet first prototype’s shots.
The 03 Concept is getting similar in its size to the first manufacturer’s project, the 01 Concept (dudes never mind the splendid names, don’t they?) and uses a version of Volvo’s Compact Modular Architecture. The exterior graphics is admittedly borrowed from the same 01 source, as far as it goes to the broad grille and the nose. Another gimmick being explored is a sales system: vehicles aren’t scheduled to hit local dealers. Instead of, the manufacturer is going to sale them online, with direct deliveries to the customers.
