Mazda Promises a Big Badaboom at the NY Auto Show
The forthcoming Auto Show in the Big Apple City seems to become the very place of revealing some promising gimmicks there. Among others, Mazda will intend to reveal a world premiere there speaking in equivoques to the main automotive magazines and websites with its invitation and hinting at something really mind-blowing news. What would it be?
Having received one of these invitation cards, the British Autocar supposed it to be the latest-generation MX-5 Miata. This model will be called the MX-5 Roadster for European customers; in U.S., it would debut under the PRHT name.
The latter means Miata with a power retractable hard top. Such a conclusion has been made due to the card’s appearance as it included a message promising a vehicle premiere in NY with teasing words “Help us blow the lid off the New York Auto Show” at a piece of paper folded down inside. However, one should not expect plenty of other alterations for the new still 155 hp debutant. The updated PRHT will provide much more comfort inside the vehicle with no doubt. Though, the powertrain will be likely the same.
