Mazda Will Show CX-4 in Beijing
A fresh teaser from Mazda again! The company hints at another cool crossover with a mint teaser shot. In late April, Mazda is going to unveil the up-to-date CX-4 crossover at the forthcoming Beijing Motor Show. Judging by the single red-and-black image revealed, the just-launched CUV might boast some design cues from the sharply styled Koeru concept.
Along with the fresh CX-4, Mazda intends to unveil hot touring model versions of Mazda6 and Mazda3 for the Chine TCC at Beijing. For the long-awaited CX-4, the car maker does not disclose much exact powertrain and exterior details, but, according to the official press release, it would be an innovating type of SUV aiming to provide customers more comfort in the most creative way. However, some styling cues have been borrowed from the most successful Mazda concepts.
First of all, it comes to the brand name: the model stands between the CX-3 and CX-5 if speaking to the lineup. At the same time, the abovementioned models focus on utility mostly while the CX-4 (judging by the teaser image) lays stress on the styling. For another thing, paying attention to the rare details seen, we can notice the rear pillar boasts bold chrome accents (borrowed again from the production version of the CX-9 along with the Koeru concept).
