Mini Will Reveal its 2018 John Cooper Works Countryman ALL4 at Shanghai
Hey, it’s juicy sneak peak by Mini! This compact SUV is claimed to be the Mini’s most powerful hot-hatch model ever, it is a high-performance beastie and it faces a huge pack of steering, braking and safety upgrades. Well, it seems that Mini has worked excellently with its impressive newcomer, the 2018 John Cooper Works Countryman ALL4. The model will reach sales dealers in April and is expected to make its public debut at the forthcoming Shanghai Motor Show.
Sharing the platform with 2017 Mini Countryman, the JCW ALL4 is even so wider and longer. As in case with the JCW Clubman, the JCW Countryman is equipped with a 2.0-liter turbocharged I-4 churning out 258 lb-ft of torque and 228 horsepower and accelerating 0-62mph time in 6.2 seconds. Three driving modes are available, such as Sport, Mid and Green ones. Among the other standard options, there is a six-speed manual transmission, along with ALL4 AWD system. The suspensions and chassis have also got a careful upgrade with the package; the upgrades include a Brembo sport brake system, a shifter sport-tuned suspension (with optional Dynamic Daimler Control system), variable assist steering, not to mention an aero kit and active dampers.
