A New Kia 4-Door Model Will Be Released in 2017
Some time ago, Kia had been relished an idea of making a sleek and sporty 4-door model. Time went by, and the idea might have become reality next year. According to the latest scoop, KIA is gearing a production version if this four-door coupe concept in May 2017 to launch, as Reuters reported.
The project codename will apparently sound “CK”, and the Hyundai-Kia claims the targeted production of at least 60,000 units per year. The promising concept is believed to appear Kia’s first experience in the high performance universe, and mostly would share the base with the 2011 GT concept. The 4-door model could expectedly feature 2.0-turbo, 2.2- and 3.0-litre V8 engines. The entire exterior is still unconfirmed, though; some styling traits will be reportedly taken from the existing coupe concepts like the GT or Novo. Some most outstanding design features like a low profile, a wide grille, suicide doors or a top-notch roofline are welcomed to be carried over from the concepts. Well, sounds sensational.
