Bentley has introduced its first SUV, the Bentayga, at 2015 International Motor Show in Frankfurt. The premium marque model is expected to go on sale in 2016 for wealthy buyers, claiming to be the top-exclusive (and top expensive) SUV at the target market. The price tag will start at $230, 000 or £160, 000.
Quite strange and unordinary name to take, the Bentayga bridges the gap between subtropical Grand Canary Islands’ refined chic and Northern “Taiga” subarctic forests’ power and hardness, combining the highest luxury and tackling any rough terrains effortlessly as well as the amazing performance.
Bentley’s flagship model can proudly be described as the high-speedest, the most sophisticated and even top-notch SUV ever, said the automotive maker. The production model will be featured with the powerful all-new 6-litre twin-turbocharged W12 engine. This mighty monster will start the race from 0-60mph in just 4.0 seconds with 900NM of torque and 600hp, so it can rapidly demonstrate the top speed of 187mph. Being a first such type of the flashy SUV, the Bentley version is expected to feature a diesel engine but not sooner than late 2016.
