NextEV Released a Limited-Run 1360bhp Nio EP9 Supercar
You may never have heard about such a little-known start-up company as NextEV. However, this Chinese-backed electric car company has presented today a new road brand Nio , and it seems to be a mainstream electric supercar within the next few years.
The smart premium Nio EP9 vehicle was unveiled at the Saatchi Gallery in London, UK. Claimed to be the world’s fastest electric supercar, the visionary AWD two-seater has already beaten the fastest Nürburgring Nordschliefe EV lap time, topping the brilliant 7mins 5.12s and focusing on pure performance. Cry bitter tears, Toyota, with TMH EV P001! Under the hood, there are four gearboxes along with four high-performance electric motors, accelerating the 1360bhp road beast from 0 to 62mph in 2.7 seconds boasting a top speed of 313kph. What about being eco-friendly? No worries, the all-electric supercar will charge up in a less 45mins, providing a range of 427km.
NextEV is going to roll out only six Nio EP9 units in the near future, with the reported pricing tag of $1.2M.
