Porsche 911 GT2 RS Is Finally On the Way with 640HP
Kudos to EVO, now we get a chance to know more about the Porsche 911 GT2 RS. After EVO was lucky to ride with Andreas Preuninger in a challenging prototype, he lifted the veil of mystery having revealed some new specs of the new high-potential model.
The exciting GT2 RS is definitely going places; due to the upgraded, 3.8-liter twin-turbocharged flat-six engine along with a titanium exhaust and larger turbochargers, the top-tier will make 641 horsepower and 553 lb-ft of torque. The new rear-wheel-drive only GT2 will use a water injection system (in the same way the BMW M4 GTS used it) and a PDK dual-clutch transmission. No manual transmission as these hot-shot cars are purely oriented for swag performance and breathtaking speed. Due to the use of some lightweight components and materials, the final total weight will make around 3,300 pounds.
We can only hope that we’ll see this model at the forthcoming Frankfurt Motor Show.
