RAM Introduces Two Limited Edition Models for 2016 LA Show
The Ignition Orange Sport along with the 2017 Rebel Mojave Sand Edition will be unveiled at the Los Angeles Auto Show as the models for the forthcoming 2017 model year. Both models are expected to reach automotive dealers before the end of the year, though. On top of that, FCA revealed the pricing for the limited edition versions; the base price will make $45,590 plus extra destination charges. However, one should hop to it when buying – only 1500 units are planned to be built.
The 2017 RAM 1500 Ignition Orange is actually a well-executed remake of the previous 2015 limited edition package. The main difference is a sport hood with black hood decals, a dynamite orange painted exterior, along with the same color interior and copperhead accents, not to mention 20-inch redesigned wheels. The tailgate badge as well as the head grille badge is rendered in black, too.
The 2017 Rebel Mojave Sand model is aimed to extend the standard 1500 Rebel off-roader line featuring all the options and configurations there. The package will offer 4 exterior color options, along with two interior ones. The model features RAM-logoed rubber floor mats, black anodized bezels inside the car and a performance black-decaled hood. Gray contrasted stitching adorns the seats and doors.
