Redesigned Porsche 911 Turbo - Speeder, Faster, Mighter!

Porsche officially released the redesigned 911 Turbo and Turbo S to debut at the Detroit International Auto Show in January 2016. Both 2017 Turbo models will be offered in two body styles, Convertible (the pricing will be more than $200,000) and Coupe (the price tag will start from $159, 000).

All we know the fact the Turbo is considered to be one of the fastest vehicles in the world, thanks to the German highly-precise engineering. One can notice that the models are designed sharper, featuring the 6-cylinder 3.8-liter twin-turbocharged engine and delivering 7200rpm and 540 HP (that is 200rpm and 20 HP more compared to the previous versions). Both Turbos are fitted with new fuel injectors to achieve a higher fuel pressure.

To try the performance, one should better select an empty street. The S model can demonstrate the impressive figures from 0 to 60mph in 2.8 seconds – so you HAVE to choose an empty street, sure as hell. Well, the twin-model, Turbo, is a bit slower – 0.1second, hugely impressing! For the rest, the top speed…are you surely ready to know these figures? Turbo reaches 198mph and Turbo S does 205mph accordingly – such an increased performance is now possible thanks to an upgraded electronic engine and sophisticated transmission management. Fingers crossed – EPA FC ratings would be impressive to the same degree.

What could be said about the redesigned interior? The cabin is fitted with a smart 7-inch infotainment touch screen, Bose sound system, navigation system, upgraded connectivity via Bluetooth or Wi-Fi (it could be helpful to use Google street view to have a finger on traffic situation on-line). Sounds worth its base price of $159,200 for Turbo and $188,100 for Turbo S, doesn’t it?
