Sometimes They Come Back: Inden Design Tuned the Outgoing SLS AMG
If the car is gone, replaced by the current-day model, why not to make some cool modifications of the appearance or performance of the car? Inden Design, the German tuning atelier, has created the ultimate tuning package for the outgoing version of the Mercedes-Benz SLS 63 AMG, then meet the boosted & completely restyled Black Series there! It could be hardly turned into a speed demon, though, but a piece of designing geometry instead. The actual work involves using a pure-carbon rear wing, a whole-new set of side skirts, and a stainless steel exhaust system to add extra power, keeping conversely the spirit of the Benz model itself.
The main reason for such aftermarket modifications is quite simple; after some engine work, the power output will considerably increase from the stock 571hp to 635hp via a 6.2L V8. Along with it, the package also includes a fresh set of KW coilovers and one-off gloss black so crazy popular BBS-F1 rims. In terms of the exterior, the supercar was completely reassembled from the very frame, to highlight an “ice-blast” treatment. Not to mention the blacked-out massive grille, a revised front bumper and a rear carbon-fibre exposed bumper as well. Either way, the tuning version is a truly remarkable car.
