Special Edition Project 7 to Get a Successor
According to Auto Express, Jag chiefs have contemplated the idea that maybe the Project 7 sports car will get an appealing successor soon.
Ian Callum, Jaguar’s Design director, admitted that the limited edition Project 7’ incomer will unconditionally obtain more individual traits than an F-Type getting departure from former yet impressive design and becoming even sportier and bolder. Talking about making both a competitive and commercially viable model on the market, an improved F-Type, strongly limited too, like the C-X75 would be a hard nut to crack, Callum added. It’s worth to remark that the British luxury carmaker had built only 250 units of this exclusive Project 7 model; all of them sold out.
However, the previous 567bhp-roadster put the Jag team on edge when nobody was initially sure about the high sales. John Edwards, the head of Jaguar Land Rover Special Operations business division, is now absolutely positive about the future; according to his words, if the number of Project 7s SRV built were 500, the company could have sold even the duplicate number. For all that, Edwards noted that bespoke custom-bodies one-offs are not of the moment now as the carmaker intends to concentrate greater efforts on production the existing models rather than custom-made cars.
