TechArt Unroofed 911 Porsche Turbo
Last November, TechArt tuning company unveiled its badass GTstreet R based on the Porsche 911 Turbo Coupe, and it’s about Cabrio time now! 580 horsepower doesn’t seem to be enough for such a mind-boggling model as a 911 Turbo, German tuners made it clear. Meet the result, a vibrant 711-hp turbocharged 911 Cabriolet, fast and furious!
Need more carbon fiber adds-on for your drop-top? Not an issue at all, TechArt offers a huge carbon fiber wing in a new body version, along with the same carbon side skirts and front fenders, not to mention an air diffuser mounted in the bottom part of the rear bumper. The massive wing is claimed to be tested in a wind tunnel, to step handling up by increasing down force. Looking like a real number, yep. Powered by a rear-mounted 3.8-liter flat-six, this badass easily delivers 678 pound-feet of torque and 711 ponies scooting from 0-62mph in 2.7 seconds only and bumping up a top speed to unbelievable 211mph. Inside, one can choose optional carbon fiber bits like door panels, Alcantara or leather trim for the center console and dashboard. Shell out your money – pricing is expected to shoot above $200,000 off.
