Toyota Launches Exclusive 50th Anniversary Edition Corolla for USA
In 2016, the Corolla marks its semi centenary from the time it was run to production. Debuted in 1966, the model instantly appeared to be a real sale breaker as at least 43 million Corolla units have been sold. What could be a better place to celebrate this milestone than the current NY Auto Show to unveil the special edition Corolla, sure thing? Well, welcome the commemorative 50th Anniversary model!
In fact, this sales-over-the-top model shares the basis with the 2017 Corolla SE. The unique badging would be available in three bright, conspicuous paint palette variants – consumers will deal with exclusive Black Cherry (on the photo), Blizzard Pearl and Classic Silver colors. The set of outstanding 17-inch aluminum alloy wheels with dark grey inserts is believed to be a unique model trait.
As for the cabin, some design modifications have been made inside the car. Black-cherry accents for the door panels burst upon the eye; bold contrast stitching is used to decorate the steering wheel and mixed media seats. The model gets Toyota’s Entune Audio Plus system, a 7-inch hires touchscreen and a sunroof as the noticeable tech features.
Toyota is going this model to fly to U.S. sales market this fall. The total amount of cars for sale would be limited to 8,000.
